Spider at Suzuka F1 Circuit    Konnichiwa means hello in Japan. • Adrian was back enjoying working with his old friend and colleague Jim McNamee on the BBC Scotland Proms from the Caird Hall, Dundee.

June 2010:
• Canada and Valencia were two destinations this month. Montreal is a beautiful city sitting on the mighty St. Lawrence river. The weather is almost as variable as Scotland though !

May 2010:
• May has seen a flurry of activity on the portrait front with sessions that had been gifted as presents last year suddenly coming to fruition. Must be something in the spring air ! Adrian has also been busy on the commercial front including a stills shoot back in his old home at the BBC and has just returned from yet another week abroad working on the Formula 1 racing, this time in Turkey.

January - April 2010:
• The first four months of 2010 has seen a lot of globetrotting with jobs in Bahrain, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai. That's around 47,902 miles of air travel ! We've also been fitting in the usual assortment of jobs back in the UK. Some smaller local jobs have proven difficult to fit in and we have had to ask some clients and customers to be patient in waiting for availability. So far everyone has been very understanding for which we would like to say many thanks.

• As of 19th April Adrian is stranded in Shanghai due to the Icelandic volcano situation affecting world travel. We hope to minimise any disruption to our customers and clients but obviously the situation is well beyond our control.

• Update as of 24th April: We now have a flight booked back to the UK via Hong Kong and hope to be back in Glasgow on Sunday 25th.

October - December 2009:
• The last quarter of this year turned out to be an incredibly busy spell for us. As well as fitting in jobs from as far afield as Aberdeen, Belfast and Wolverhampton and local jobs in Glasgow, we also spent a lot of time giving our website a much needed face lift. Hopefully it has a much cleaner look now as well as presenting the relevant information more clearly and perhaps most importantly showing off our photographic work in a much better and more accessible way. We still have more work to do, particularly on the lighting design section, but hopefully we are getting there.

September 2009:
• Another busy month with work out in Barcelona on the EPT Poker Tournament and also in Portugal for the GP2 motor racing

August 2009:

flying pig systems hog 3 lighting desk
Adrian used the FPS Wholehog 3 lighting desk on a live show this month. This is the first time the desk has been used in anger and in a live environment since he helped with the beta testing back in 2002. The Hog 3 behaved fairly well albeit with a few problems. Overall the desk impressed and delivered.

July 2008:
• Design & Production of Catalyst Visuals and Lighting Design Integration for current Runrig 'Road Trip 2008' tour which includes a show at Edinburgh Castle on July 26th.

We were approached by Scottish band Runrig earlier in the year to help them move their live show forward in terms of the visual aspects of the show, namely the video material used throughout the live performance, and to produce a cohesive show that had video and lighting elements tied firmly together.

February 2008:
• Promotional shoot for the motion picture 'Three And Out' for Rovinge Motion Picture Company. This involved actor Gary Lewis who played the part of Callaghan in the film. Gary is also well known as Billy Elliot's dad from the film of the same name. He was directed by Martin Scorsese alongside Daniel Day Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz in 'Gangs of New York', he was in 'Ae Fond Kiss', 'Carla's Song', 'My Name Is Joe', 'Shallow Grave', and on TV - 'Prime Suspect', 'Rebus' and 'Taggart' to name but a few. He has also received a BAFTA nomination and British Actor of the Year nomination. This was a challenging shoot for us as we were asked at very short notice to provide costume and props as well as do the shoot. The costume by way of a set of pyjamas wasn't too difficult but a shotgun was a little more challenging. Yes, a shotgun. We did however come up with the goods and the shoot went ahead on time. This shoot was done at John Cooper's hire studio in the West End of Glasgow. Thanks to John for accommodating us at such short notice.
